Mixed Integer Programming Workshop 2026

Conference Venue

The workshop will be held at the University of Connecticut, Stamford Campus.

Talks will be held in DWTN 109 (A1), while tea/coffee breaks will be outside.

The poster session/reception (Monday, May 18) and Dinner (Tuesday, May 19) will take place on the Concourse of the downtown building.

Getting to the venue

Airport information

The closest airports to the Stamford campus are

Westchester County Airport is about 25 minutes away by car. An Uber/Lyft ride to downtown Stamford typically costs $35–$60.

LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark are major international airports located about 45–75 minutes away (traffic dependent). Rideshare costs to Stamford usually range from $80–$160. Public transportation options are available from these airports (see below).

Local transportation

In-Town

  • Train: The primary rail service is Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line.
  • The Stamford Transportation Center is about a 10-minute walk from campus. Frequent service connects Stamford to New York City (Grand Central Terminal) and other Connecticut cities.
  • Local Bus: Operated by CTtransit. Typical fare: about $1.75 per ride. Several routes stop near downtown and the campus.
  • Hotel Blocks

    We have two hotel reservation blocks for MIP Workshop participants close to the UConn Stamford Campus.
